2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When the website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary access data such as requested pages or files, referrer information, browser and device information, time of access and IP address information. IONOS states that IP addresses in its web-hosting product are anonymized directly when collected and that visitor data can be stored for up to eight weeks.
The processing is carried out to provide the website securely, reliably and without errors on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the technical operation and security of this website.
3. Encrypted connection
This website is delivered via HTTPS. Data transmitted between your browser and our server is therefore encrypted in accordance with current technical standards.
4. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide in order to respond to your request. Depending on the nature of the request, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual communication or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for our legitimate interest in responding to other inquiries. The data is deleted when it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Cookies, consent and privacy settings
Strictly necessary storage may be used so that the website and your privacy choices can function. For non-essential access to or storage of information on your device, we obtain consent in advance where required by law. The legal basis is Section 25 TDDDG in conjunction with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Non-essential categories are not pre-selected before you make an active choice. You can change or withdraw consent at any time for the future via Cookie settings.
6. Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 may be used to measure website reach and usage. For users in the European Economic Area, the provider is generally Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Depending on the configuration, information about page views, sessions, devices or browsers and interactions may be processed. Where consent is required, the service is used on the basis of Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25 TDDDG. Consent can be withdrawn via Cookie settings.
Our Google Consent Mode v2 baseline denies analytics and advertising storage until the visitor actively chooses otherwise.
7. Pinterest Tag
After you explicitly consent to the Advertising category, the Pinterest Tag may be used to measure visits from Pinterest and selected interactions on Einfach Haltbar. For residents of the EEA, Pinterest Europe Ltd., Waterloo Exchange, 3rd Floor, Waterloo Road, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Pinterest, Inc. in the United States are described by Pinterest as joint controllers for certain processing. The tag may process page visits and selected interactions and may use Pinterest-related cookies or browser storage.
On Einfach Haltbar the Pinterest Tag is loaded only after active advertising consent. Automatic Enhanced Match is not enabled and this integration does not send an email address to Pinterest. Amazon outbound clicks are not reported as a purchase or checkout. Consent can be withdrawn at any time through Cookie settings.
8. Google AdSense and advertising services
If Google AdSense or other Google advertising services are activated on individual pages, those services may process data for ad delivery and measurement and, only where selected, for personalized advertising. Consent-dependent storage and access are controlled through the privacy settings. Where required for ad delivery, a Google-certified consent management solution may additionally be used.
9. Newsletter and free guides with Brevo
We use Brevo for newsletter sign-ups and delivery of our free guides. Depending on the contractual setup, the service is provided by a Brevo/Sendinblue company. When you subscribe, your email address, sign-up time and technically necessary verification data may be processed. Subscription takes place only with your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and is protected by a double-opt-in process. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting info@einfachhaltbar.de.
Brevo states that its hosting databases are located within the European Union. Where Brevo acts as a processor, processing is based on a data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR.
10. Amazon affiliate links
Einfach Haltbar participates in the Amazon Associates Program. Our website contains appropriately identified affiliate links. If you click one of these links, you leave our website and are redirected to an Amazon website or, where applicable, the Amazon app. Further data processing then takes place under Amazon’s privacy terms. We may receive a commission from qualifying purchases; this does not change the purchase price for you.
11. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR. Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
12. Retention period
Unless a specific retention period is stated in this privacy policy, personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or for as long as statutory retention obligations apply.
13. Changes to this privacy policy
We update this privacy policy when the services we use, technical processes or legal requirements change.
